Time Flies...
...when you are packing 13 years of stuff!
But finally, truck's gone, I'm sleeping on an air matress, and I am scurring around the studio to wrap up a few things. The plane leaves on Monday morning and I'll be hustling to get a bunch done before then. I am back on August 8th (my sister's birthday) and I'll stay around for a few weeks and a few other important events. Leave a place at the table, a blanket on the couch or a seat at a bar for me. I'll travel safely and hold you in my heart. big love.

Well today is Monday, July 3rd and you flew away today. Sniff, sniff. Thanks for mentioning me in your entry ;) Glad you moved after the invent of the cell phone and the internet/blog/email. Keeping in touch around the country is a lot cheaper than it used to be. Thankfully. Happy 1st day in Berkley!

Though I'm really thrilled that you made the choice, and have finally taken leave for the West Coast, I will miss you dearly. Despite all of the conveniences available, it's different knowing that seeing you face to face is a plane ride away rather than meeting at "It's Greek to Me" or "Auriga". Sad/happy/happy/sad but all in all so proud that you made the choice as I know it was hard.
Send pictures of the new place as soon as you can (inside and out) so we can "imagine" you there.
